Every visit gets the whole list. Two things change the time: the size of the car, and the inside if you add it.
What every hand car wash includes
- Body hand washed with a mitt, then hand dried with clean towels
- Wheels and tires scrubbed with their own brushes
- Outside glass and mirrors cleaned
- Door jambs wiped
- Fresh bird droppings and sap lifted before the sun bakes them on
- A text with a photo when it's done
Signs it's time for a hand wash
- A film of dust on the hood that shows when the sun is low.
- Brake dust turning the front wheels gray.
- Bird droppings or sap from a street tree, landed in the last day or two.
- Purple jacaranda flowers on a car that sleeps under one in late spring. They stain the paint if they sit for a week.
- A road trip coming up, or the car about to go up for sale.
Some marks are past a wash. Sap baked on by the sun and water spots etched into glass need a polish. So do scratches. A wash every week or two lifts sap and droppings before they set.
How the wash goes
- A text when we start. You don't need to be home. For an outside wash we never knock or come in.
- A rinse, then the mitt. The body is washed by hand. The wheels and tires are scrubbed with brushes kept for them.
- Glass and door jambs. The outside glass and the mirrors are cleaned, and the jambs are wiped, so opening a door doesn't put road dirt on your sleeve.
- Then the towels. The whole car is dried by hand with clean towels.
- A photo when it's done. The last text has a photo of the car and the link to pay for that wash, with room to add a tip if you want to.
Time at your car, from the first rinse to the finished photo: about 45 minutes for cars and small SUVs, 55 for big SUVs and minivans, and 65 for trucks and full-size vans.
What the price depends on
- The size of the car. Cars and small SUVs, big SUVs and minivans, or trucks and full-size vans. Not sure which? Pick the closest and tell us the model.
- A standing day or one wash. A wash on your standing day and a wash just once are priced on their own lines.
- The inside, if you add it. About 30 more minutes, on the weeks you ask for it.
The price we confirm by text when you sign up is what each wash costs. A price change reaches you in writing 30 days before it applies.
A hand car wash every week or two
Keep a day and a morning window, and we come back on that morning every week, every 2 weeks or every 4. The reminder text the evening before lets you skip a week. A car wash subscription keeps it that way, with no minimum term.

Which size is my car?
A Camry, a Civic, a RAV4 or a Model Y is a car or small SUV. A Highlander, a Telluride, a Pilot or a Sienna is a big SUV or minivan. An F-150, a Silverado, a Tacoma or a Transit is a truck or full-size van. If yours isn't here, pick the closest and tell us the model.
Do you wash the inside too?
Only if you add it. Interior cleaning takes about 30 more minutes: seats and carpets vacuumed, mats shaken out, the dash, console and door panels wiped, and the inside glass cleaned. We never add it unless you ask.
What if I'm not happy with a wash?
Text us a photo that day. We come back within 2 days and wash it again at no charge.
